Welcome,

Clinical trials are essential to understanding diseases, improving treatment methods, and providing alternative therapies and pharmaceuticals for patients. A clinical trial is a carefully designed study during which people volunteer to receive investigational treatments under close supervision by a physician and other research professionals. Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies develop these treatments and select physicians, also called investigators, who are qualified to conduct clinical trials. It is through these trials and studies that investigational drugs and treatments may show their benefits.
